Students and Scholars Against Corporate Misbehavior (SACOM) is a Hong Kong-based non-profit organization founded in 2005. It is dedicated to monitoring corporate behavior related to workplace conditions and workers rights in China. SACOM monitors corporate behavior through the identification of companies' suppliers and close collaboration with workers at the workplace level in order to hold companies accountable to their corporate codes of conduct and supplement ineffective auditing programs. It also coordinates with labor NGOs to provide training and support to workers in order to enable them to democratically organize to express their collective voice.
SACOM's monitoring reports are critical resources in the information published on the CorpKey Wiki project on SourceWatch, particularly with regards to Disney and electronics manufacturers and parts suppliers.
